Project Christmas accepts donations year round to fund adoptions for Christmas 2016.
Last year, Project Christmas had over 43 businesses, 13 churches, 26 organizations/clubs, 10 schools and over 150 individuals as partners.
Adopt a child, family, or several families to provide Christmas gifts. Individuals or organizations may choose to adopt directly through Project Christmas or through one of our many partner organizations, schools, churches and businesses that coordinate adoptions.

5 Day Team Captain the week before Distribution Day.
Distribution week has many opportunities
Distribution Day is always on a Saturday.
Much work is done during the week before Distribution Day. Gifts are collected and assembled into family groups, food is purchased or collected and made into family food baskets, and shoppers supplement children’s gifts when necessary.
With distribution sites on both the east and west sides of St. Tammany Parish, volunteering your time is easy. You can give an hour, a day or the entire week!
When you email about volunteering, please state in the subject line: East or West (side of the parish).
Each year, we shop for children not adopted or to complete food baskets for the families. Most of this shopping happens during the week before distribution and our ability to meet the need depends on our monetary resources. Your donations ensure that all the registered children receive Christmas. Please make checks payable to St. Tammany Project Christmas.
