How To Register

2018 Registration Dates

2018 St. Tammany Project Christmas Registration Dates have been announced! PLEASE READ BELOW.

How to Register:

1. ATTEND ONE OF OUR REGISTRATION DATES
Registration is held at three sites across the parish. Completing registration is the only way to participate in St. Tammany Project Christmas each year. You may register at ANY of the sites, but you MUST register at a site to participate.

SLIDELL/EAST ST. TAMMANY
Family Life Center at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church • 910 Cross Gates Blvd., Slidell

– Wednesday, October 10th ………. 9 a.m. -12 p.m.
– Saturday, October 20th ………. 9 a.m. -12 p.m.
– Wednesday, October 24th ………. 4 p.m. -7 p.m.

LACOMBE
The Village Church- Lutheran • 29180 Hwy 190, Lacombe
– Friday, October 12th ………….. 9 a.m. -12 noon
– Saturday, October 20th ……… 8 a.m. -11 a.m.
– Monday, October 22nd ……….. 3 p.m. -6 p.m.

MANDEVILLE/COVINGTON/WEST ST. TAMMANY

– Saturday, October 20th ……………. 9 a.m. -12 noon

2. BRING ALL DOCUMENTATION:

  1. Valid picture I.D. of applicant
  2. Original birth certificate for gift recipients
  3. Social security cards for ALL household members
  4. Proof of income for ALL household members (Pay-stub, SSI documents, etc.)
  5. SNAP eligibility letter or current print out (showing all household members)
  6. Custody papers (if applicable)
  7. Proof of high school enrollment (current report card required if child is 18 years old)

3. COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION PROCESS WITH ONE OF OUR COORDINATORS. They will help you complete your application and verify your documents.

How do I know if I am approved?

  • IMPORTANT: Completing registration does not guarantee that you will be approved for our program. If you are approved, you will receive a postcard with your Distribution Day pickup location. Distribution Day typically takes place the week before Christmas.
  • If your application is denied, you will receive a letter explaining why you were denied.

Important Notes About Registering for St. Tammany Project Christmas.

  • If your family shows up on a list from any other Christmas assistance program, you will be automatically dropped from STPC.
  • Submission of an application and/or acceptance into STPC does not create a contract between the applicant and STPC or any obligation on the part of STPC. Acceptance into St. Tammany Project Christmas does not guarantee nor entitle you to receive all or any of the items requested.
  • Applicants will be removed and permanently excluded from STPC if any individual threatens or endangers STPC volunteers or makes any misrepresentation of information.
